My approach is simple: beautiful, honest photography that reflects your day exactly as it felt. No forced poses, no awkward direction, and no manufactured moments designed purely for social media. Instead, I focus on capturing the atmosphere, emotion, and genuine connections that make your wedding uniquely yours.

Of course, I'll guide you when needed. During your couple portraits, I'll create space for the two of you to step away from the celebrations for a few moments and simply be together. Nothing complicated, nothing uncomfortable. Just natural, elegant photographs that feel authentic and timeless.

Family photographs are organised efficiently and with purpose, allowing you to spend less time standing in lines and more time celebrating with the people you've chosen to share your day with.

While you're immersed in the excitement of it all, I'll be documenting the moments you might otherwise miss, the tears during the speeches, the proud look from your parents, the laughter between old friends, the stolen kisses, the champagne-fuelled dance floor moments, and all the beautiful in-between memories that tell the real story of your wedding.

I’m not interested in chasing trends or creating photographs that feel forced. I'm there to document your day with care, creativity, and a calm presence, ensuring you can relax and enjoy every moment knowing it's all being captured beautifully.

Travel: I am happy to travel up to 1hr from PE2 8NS but will also travel further afield with additional travel costs and destination wedding photography is also available.

Retainers

A £300 booking retainer secures the time and services of Elizabeth Young Photography for the wedding and is non-refundable or transferable in the event of cancellation, it being the agreed loss suffered by the photographer due to cancellation.

Photo books

Photo books - All are layflat pages which is perfect for images to cover two pages without a seam.
