So my day started at a fabulous house called Thorn Hall which is where Emma and all the girls bridal preparations were taking place in a little village in Gorfield. The sun was shining and the bubbles flowing and lots of girly banter around the room made the whole morning a breeze for me as I photographed all the little details of the brides dress, shoes and accessories.
The lovely Kate Chandler from Minx Beauty Consultants was there on hand to do the make up, she and her mum did a fantastic job and all ladies looked stunning!
Emma arrived at with her dad at Elm church which was about 15 minutes away from the house. I met with Simon briefly as he waited eagerly for his bride to arrive. Unfortunately I wasn't permitted to take any photos of the ceremony which was a shame but as a photographer I have to respect these limitations. Only the videographer was permitted to film the ceremony so I had to stay at the back of the church, I did however enjoy Emma & Simons ceremony, it was beautiful as they exchanged their vows and promises to one another. I don't often get this privilege to actually sit back and enjoy the ceremony.
Adam at Adam Waugh Video Productions filmed the ceremony through to the end of the first dance. I would thoroughly recommend him as he worked effortlessly and with a heap of creativity added. He didn't get in my way and we worked well together making sure we captured all this important details of Emma & Simons wedding day.
Emma and Simon celebrated their day at Tower Hall in Farley Bridge followed by dancing and a hog roast dinner.
I would like to wish Emma & Simon all the best for their future together xxx
