I first met with Kim & Kev last year at their home in market Deeping and was also warmly welcomed by their dog Charlie, who I would also later get to know on their engagement shoot.
They were excited to share their plans and I was keen to know more about their venue at the William Cecil hotel in Stamford as I had never photographed a wedding their before.
A year later I was pleasantly pleased to see the hotel was more beautiful than I had envisaged. They had invested in the garden and the stunning lawns were surrounded by beautiful flowers and stunning archway which made for a lovely backdrop to the photographs later in the day.
I met Kim in the bridal suite along with her sister Gemma as bridesmaid and Gemma's two girls who were to be the flower girls.
Kim chose Hannah at lipstick & Hairpins to do her makeup and I have to say, i have worked alongside Hannah on lots of weddings and other settings and her work is stunning, I would truly recommend Hannah to any bride as she's fantastic at what she does.
Kev was accompanied to the hotel by his son Callum who had the role of the best mans assistant and his best man Jim who assisted me with their group photographs.
They exchanged their vows and ventured out to the grounds to enjoy their first few moments as newlyweds and for me to take their pictures.
The speeches were brilliant and Kim's dad had me in stitches one moment and welling up the next, he is a very confident speaker and not a googled line to be found!
In all a stunning day and wonderful people, I wish them a lifetime of laughter and love x
